The Communications, Service Regina & Tourism division is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community through effective communication, exceptional customer service, and the promotion of tourism to Regina. This division enhances the City’s brand and reputation, internal and external events, and implements strategies for internal communications to ensure that employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the City’s strategies and goals.

The division adopts a customer-focused approach to contribute to a well-informed public, a high level of service satisfaction among residents, businesses, stakeholders and visitors, and a dynamic, attractive environment for tourists.

Jennifer JohnsonJennifer Johnson, Deputy City Manager of Communications, Service Regina & Tourism

Jennifer Johnson joined the City of Regina, as Deputy City Manager of Communications, Service Regina, & Tourism in December 2023 after 16 years with the Government of Saskatchewan. Throughout her tenure with the Provincial Government, she held various leadership positions, including Assistant Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport. Jennifer has served on Boards of Directors for the Saskatchewan Science Centre, the Canadian Parks Council, and the Marketing Advisory Council with Tourism Saskatchewan, as well as several other Board-level positions and steering committees. Jennifer brings extensive expertise and experience in the fields of marketing, communications, and tourism and she looks forward to supporting the residents and visitors of Regina.
